As a Pharmacy Team Leader, you’ll be working closely alongside your Pharmacist, helping with the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, and taking a lead on its dispensing activities. Your duties will include (but are not limited to): Building close relationships with your local community, patients, and members to provide them with expert clinical advice and reassurance Assisting with leading the pharmacy team to ensure an efficient and friendly service to deliver a range of enhanced services Inspiring and supporting your colleagues to develop their skills and careers through supervision and training. Checking prescriptions for accuracy and safety, assisting with dispensing medications and advising patients on routes of administration and dosages Supporting branch management; maintaining records, tracking inventory, controlling stock levels and securing controlled drugs to maintain compliance. About You We are looking for a professional and driven pharmacist who has a genuine passion about health care and who is keen to develop in their role and career. Additionally, you’ll need to have: Essential: A Level 3 Dispensary qualification (or equivalent) and be registered a registered Qualified Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council Experience of leading a team in a similar setting would be desirable, with a natural drive and ambition to achieve targets. A professional and approachable manner to build and maintain dependable working relationships Excellent communication skills, able to be a role model for your team in delivering face-to-face interactions to a high standard.
