With a growing property portfolio and ambitious expansion plans, we are looking for an experienced Lettings Manager with a strong business development focus to join our busy team.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Lettings Manager to oversee the let side of our business. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and organisational skills, ensuring that all lettings processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication abilities, with a clear focus on delivering an exceptional journey for our landlords and tenants. The Lettings Manager will be responsible for the entire let cycle from listing the property to check in, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations. There is a strong new business generation aspect to this role including marketing to new leads, progressing these through a nurture campaign and subsequently closing deals.

Responsibilities
As Lettings Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of our lettings department while driving growth through proactive business development. You'll be responsible for:
* Leading and motivating the lettings team to hit and exceed targets.
* Managing the full lettings cycle from valuations to move-ins.
* Ensuring compliance with lettings legislation and industry standards.
* Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
* Proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities.
* Growing the property portfolio through networking, prospecting, and marketing initiatives.
* Liaise with our Lettings Negotiator to conduct property viewings and provide detailed information to potential tenants and clear feedback to our landlords
* Maintain accurate records of all properties and tenants, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Liaise with landlords and tenants to resolve any issues or queries promptly.
* Develop marketing strategies to promote available properties effectively.
* Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure properties are in good condition for new tenants.
* Prepare tenancy agreements and ensure all documentation is completed accurately.
* Monitor market trends to provide insights on rental pricing and property demand.
Experience
We're looking for someone with:
* Proven experience in lettings management (minimum 4 years).
* ARLA/Propertymark qualification (preferred, or willingness to study).
* Strong knowledge of lettings legislation and compliance.
* A track record in winning new instructions and growing portfolios.
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
* A results-driven mindset with a proactive, can-do attitude.
* A full UK driving licence.
