Cygnus Academies Trust is seeking a HR Apprentice to join our HR team on a fixed-term basis. This is a newly created role designed to provide administrative support to the HR team. The successful candidate will assist in delivering an efficient and effective HR service across the Trust.
The HR Apprentice will be the first point of contact within the HR team for general enquiries, escalating issues as necessary. Responsibilities include supporting recruitment and pre-employment checks, and developing skills on our HR system. The Trust will fund a Level 3 qualification in HR support.
This position is customer-facing and falls within the scope of the Code of Practice on English Language Requirement for Public Sector Workers. The school has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have sufficient command of spoken English for effective job performance. Standards are set out in the JD/Person Specification and will be applied during recruitment, selection, and probation.
