In this role of Head of Business Growth Delivery, Real Estate you will be responsible for the management and delivery of significant change projects on behalf of Real Estate Operations with primary focus on business growth, working closely with the Real Estate Front Office reporting to the Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure Operations.
How you'll spend your time..
The Head of Business Growth Delivery, Real Estate is responsible for the implementation of strategic growth projects working closely with both Real Estate Front Office (Investment and Asset Management teams) and Operations under the direction of Fund Managers and the Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure Operations. The role provides key business change support from fund launch through to exit being supported by project management resource where appropriate.
Focus will be primarily on the Real Estate closed end fund range but will also cover other business growth/change projects as appropriate.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Development of the Real Estate operational platform to accommodate business needs, working closely with the Real Estate Front Office, Operations, Tax and Legal teams
2. Supporting complex transactions and exit strategies including corporate acquisitions and disposals
3. Supporting product development where appropriate including input into fund structuring of funds in the UK, Jersey and Luxembourg
4. Leading fund launches, including input into the production of constitutional documentation for the funds and production of key investor documents
5. Working alongside the Front Office in support of debt strategy and origination and subsequently, loan facility and hedging implementation.
6. Liaising with service providers including onboarding of third parties such as fund administrators, valuers etc and managing the book of change with each supplier
7. Responsible for direct line management of the Senior Project Manager to ensure key milestones are met and progress, risks and issues are adequately captured, documented and communicated
To be successful in this role you will have..
8. Significant experience working with UK Real Estate funds in the UK, Jersey and Luxembourg
9. Ability to develop deep understanding of Real Estate fund strategies and the operational implications
10. A deep understanding of the end-to-end operation and processes of a Real Estate Asset Manager
11. Client Focus driven with proven experience
12. Clear and concise communicator with experience of working with colleagues at all levels and external service providers
13. Ability to work under pressure
14. Strong issue identification and resolution ability
