Job Title: Global Trade Manager
This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Global Trade Manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in import/export, preferably in aerospace or defence.
* The role involves managing accurate and auditable import records, providing clearance instructions, and managing copy entries, amendments, and freight forwarder charges.
* Additionally, the job requires maintaining import records, conducting audits, managing quarterly filings with HMRC, discharging IPR, and supporting scrap processes.
* The Global Trade Manager will also be responsible for managing export licences, applications, and end-user controls.
* Prioritising and producing export documentation, managing SAP export transactions, clearing export blocks, booking shipments, ensuring compliance with licence/end-user checks, and managing ATA carnet and freight forwarder charges are key responsibilities.
* Maintaining accurate records for MK Denial checks, travel permits, site visits, and tech data transfers is also essential.
* The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills, with a self-motivated, proactive, and receptive attitude to change.
* A relevant third-level qualification, such as business, supply chain, international trade, or related field, is required.
* The ability to deploy and track Global Trade policies and procedures, support annual audits, self-audits, and regulatory inspections (ECJU, HMRC, etc.), and provide assistance to other support functions (e.g., Ethics, Security) are also necessary.
* The successful candidate will have strong project management qualifications and skills, including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
