The Role
We seek an Interim Financial Controller for approximately 6 months to support our growth. Backed by DigitalBridge, we are the fastest-growing UK connectivity infrastructure company. The role requires hands-on expertise in financial control and operations within a technology or XaaS environment, focusing on automation and transformation to impact our scaling business positively.
Requirements
Financial Operations & Reporting:
* Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and working papers monthly.
* Manage cash flow and optimize financial resources.
* Ensure process efficiency and compliance within financial control frameworks.
* Oversee transactional finance, payroll, treasury, and automate AP & AR processes.
Audit, Compliance & Tax Strategy:
* Ensure audit readiness and lead external audits.
* Strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure integrity.
Systems & Process Improvement:
* Lead financial systems strategy, implementing best-in-class platforms.
* Drive digital transformation and automation, especially in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and accounting tech.
* Collaborate with tech teams to enhance data integrity and reporting automation.
Leadership & Team Development:
* Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Mergers & Acquisitions & Strategic Projects:
* Support expansion through M&A, funding, and post-acquisition integration.
* Implement scalable governance and processes for acquisitions.
Knowledge and Experience
* Proven track record in transforming financial operations for scalable companies.
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA preferred).
* Experience in audit, statutory reporting, and compliance.
* Expertise in UK GAAP and financial governance.
* Experience in technology/XaaS, ideally in PE/VC-backed environments.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and financial systems, especially Microsoft D365 F&O.
