National Trainer Manager - Monday to Friday, between 07:30 and 17:00 - 40 hours a week

An opportunity has arisen for a National Trainer Manager to join our team.
The National Trainer Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the training team, ensuring that all training programs are effectively delivered and meet the organization’s standards. This role involves supervising trainers, coordinating training schedules, and monitoring the quality of training sessions.

Role Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage a team of trainers nationally, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.
2. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and best practices.
3. Conduct PDRs for Trainers in accordance with company schedule.
4. Conduct regular 1:1’s with Trainers.
5. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and coordination of training programs.
6. Ensure all training sessions are conducted on time and in accordance with the training calendar.
7. Ensure trainers are upselling and promoting all training courses that Speedy can provide.
8. Stay on top of all legislation requirements and ensure that all trainers comply.
9. Ensure there are minimal cancellations on courses and ensure communication is regularly maintained with all senior management within training.
10. Maintain professional appearance at all times.
What You’ll Need
1. Proven experience in lifting and materials handling.
2. National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) or Independent Training Standards Scheme and Register (ITSSAR) instructor accreditations are desirable.
3. IPAF Instructor, PASMA Instructor, NPORS Instructor, ITTSAR Instructor, Equipment Regulations (LOLER), Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER), The Health and Safety at Work Act, BS 7121.
4. Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.
