Manchetts is looking for a full-time, experienced *Van Technician *to join our team.who will thrive on working for a family run business which prides itself on meeting customers’ expectations and repairs first time while delivering excellent customer service.*We are looking for someone who: *· is competent in servicing and repairing vehicles in accordance with the manufacturer`s guidelines up to 3.5 tonne vehicles· holds a minimum of a level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in light vehicles,· Is experienced with diagnostic processes and equipment· Previous experience working within a Franchise is preferred but not essential· holds a current MOT tester licence (Class 4/7) - this would be an advantage but is not essential· demonstrates the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative· can maintain communication with all departments regarding repair timescales*The ideal candidate will:*· Have the ability to work independently within a team of friendly colleagues, be a comfortable quick starter· display their talent in action, within the team and individually· Boast good diagnostic skills and enjoy problem-solving* Have a flexible approach to tasks and a strong work ethic* Be knowledgeable, professional, respectful and reliable*Terms and Conditions: ** Competitive salary- negotiable, according to experience £35-41k for day shift or £37-43k for shift work.* Monday – Friday 40 hours per week on a two week rota (06.00-14.00 and 14.00-22.30) with alternate Saturdays 07.00-12.00* Day shift hours 07.00-15.00 Monday-Friday* 31 days annual leave* Quarterly bonus schemeJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £35,000.00-£43,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Company pension* Health & wellbeing programme* Life insurance* On-site parking* Referral programmeWork Location: In person
