Cybersecurity Lead Software & DevOps Engineer

We're working with a leading financial services client to hire a Cybersecurity Lead Software & DevOps Engineer to drive the design and delivery of enterprise-wide security solutions across a complex technology landscape.
This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone operating at a Lead Engineer/Team Lead level, with proven experience managing and mentoring small teams of engineers while remaining close to architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and deliver end-to-end security solutions across cloud and on-prem environments
2. Build and scale secure platforms, frameworks, and reusable security patterns
3. Lead key initiatives across IAM, CI/CD security, secrets management, and supply chain security
4. Implement robust secrets and key management solutions (eg HashiCorp Vault, cloud-native tools)
5. Partner with engineering and platform teams to close security gaps and guide implementation
6. Own delivery of new security environments and capabilities, from concept through to adoption
7. Lead and manage a small team of engineers, setting direction, priorities, and ensuring delivery
