Overview
BCU Active are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for getting people active and will provide active opportunites to both staff and students. We are looking for people qualified to instruct the following sessions: Pilates, Yoga, Zumba, Boxercise and Functional Fitness. This role involves working with students and staff of various ages to promote physical fitness, skill development, and overall well-being in a supportive and engaging environment.
Duties
* Develop and implement session plans that cater to the needs of students in their fitness class.
* Provide instruction and guidance to participants while ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
* Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and skill development.
* Assess participant progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and form.
* Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive program that meets the needs of all participants.
* Engage with participants to discuss progress and address any concerns.
Qualifications
* Personal Trainer Qualification and/or Qualification certificate in the relevent activity
* Previous experience in teaching or coaching sports is preferred.
* Strong background in physical education or related fields such as martial arts, swimming, or health club management.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with both staff and students.
* Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £20.00-£35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 5 per week
