Assistant Site Manager
About the Role
This is a key position within our new build housing project in Congleton. As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations on site.
You will ensure that homes are built to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in managing subcontractors and site teams, monitor build progress, and maintain accurate site records and reports.
The Ideal Candidate:
* Has 3-5 years' experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new build housing projects.
* Has a proven track record with a national or regional housebuilder.
* Has strong knowledge of NHBC standards, H&S regulations, and construction processes.
* Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Has relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid).
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing subcontractors and site teams.
* Monitor build progress and quality control.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
* Support with site inspections and handovers.
* Maintain accurate site records and reports.
