About the Role
You’ll be part of a supportive, hands-on manufacturing environment where teamwork, safety, and quality come first. Your role will involve material handling such as wire, operating FLTs and overhead cranes, supporting production flow, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety across the site.
This is a great opportunity if you enjoy practical work, take pride in doing things properly, and want to build long-term skills in manufacturing.
Key responsibilities
Material Handling
* Transport and prepare wire for production requirements.
* Safely operate cranes & FLT’s for handling and relocating materials.
* Perform manual finishing tasks using hand power tools.
Machine Operation
* Operate bending & profiling machinery to shape materials as required.
Production & Quality
* Conduct quality checks on raw materials and finished products.
* Support manual production processes when required.
* Follow work instructions and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Housekeeping & Safety
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with 5S methodology and company standards.
* Operate machinery, tools, and equipment safely, in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Promptly report hazards, defects, or equipment issues.
Development Objectives
* Build knowledge of raw materials, production flows and materials handling techniques.
* Consistently perform quality checks and maintain high housekeeping standards.
* Progress towards greater responsibility within manufacturing operations.
About you

* Experienced in operating FLTs (Forklift Trucks)
* Proven experience working in production/manufacturing environments
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Team-oriented, with a positive and flexible attitude
* Willing to learn new skills and get involved across operations
* Focused on continuous improvement
* Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on environment
