About the Role
In this role you will work as a leader working in partnership with the Leadership Teams to manage and deliver key initiatives to improve business performance.
Performance Partner to Category I&BC heads and Functional I&BC Leadership team with joint accountability for Brand Change results and delivery of business unit strategy (H&S, Compliance, Time, Cost, Quality, Speed to Market and Improvement).
Manage customers effectively with a strong ability to work cross functionally across all levels of the organisation to lead and deliver key improvement projects.
Functional Partner to LT, well-practised in the tools and methodologies to apply (e.g. Loss & Waste analysis, RCPS, DMAIC, HACCP).
Coaching of multidisciplinary teams on trouble shooting tools and improvement practices.
Use performance data analytics, alongside internal & external data insights to drive continuous improvement activities.
Leads & supports Brand Change teams to drive an integrated approach to continuous improvement at T1, T2.
Leads and supports Brand Change Managers to drive an integrated approach to continuous improvement at T3 & T4.
Lead I&BC Improvement programme through Governance process / DMAIC Lean 6 Sigma.
Key Accountabilities
Lead strategic improvement projects using the DMAIC and Change Management methodology. (e.g. 5Why, FT-DMAIC, PDCA).
Manage the delivery of transform and improvement projects, in partnership with Technical Functional teams and category heads.
Ensure that any transformations and improvements implemented are standardised and sustained within category and function (sharing standard process)
About You
You will be a natural leader with a consistent track record in seeing opportunities, developing these through to business case and then successfully delivering and embedding change using effective Project Management techniques.
Experience working in a process environment with evidence to demonstrate ability to develop effective working relationships with customers and cross functional teams to deliver organisational effectiveness and improved business performance.
Experience in utilising Manufacturing Excellence, Change Management tools and techniques.
Ability to interpret and analyse extensive data sources to identify loss and waste, cost saving opportunities and trends.
Basic financial awareness, understanding of business drivers, budgeting processes.
Proficient in use of standard business (MS Office) and Diageo packages and relevant external portals (SAP, Planview, Power BI etc).
Extensive project management skills including Green and Black Belt Six Sigma.
Experience of working in a challenging quality & customer focused environment.
