Accounts Assistant - Part-time\n\nWe are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a company based in St Albans on a permanent, part-time basis. This is a fully office-based role, with free parking on-site, working Monday-Friday. There is flexibility on hours, for example 9-2, 10-3 etc.

Salary is 35k, pro rata.\n\nDuties will include but not be limited to:\n\nReconciling bank statements and credit card accounts\nHelping with monthly reporting and assisting with budgeting\nPreparing tax documentation and completing audits\nProcessing accounts payable and accounts receivable\nUpdating financial transactions and completing the posting process\nCompleting monthly payroll, dealing with payroll queries, and employee expenses\nSupporting with order processing and other office ad-hoc duties when requiredTo be successful for this position, you must have proven experience in a similar role within an office environment, as well as strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, ideally AAT Level 3.
