Fantastic opportunity to work in a clinically focussed, quality driven independent practice in Crewkerne. You would work within a practice led by a director with specialist interest in Glaucoma and Therapeutics. This practice is fully supportive of optometrists developing their special interests including specialist contact lenses and dry eye clinics. Support for higher qualifications is offered and we actively encourage staff to spend part of the week in hospital work. The practice itself is recently refurbished throughout, air-conditioned, and extensively equipped including Optomap retinal imaging, OCT, auto-phoropter digital topographers and dry eye clinic. The practice has well trained, welcoming support staff including dispensing opticians as well as a digital dispensing tower. As an independent practice, they can provide you with the clinical freedom, generous test-times to allow for comprehensive professional care, and equipment to solve problems and genuinely help people. Patients are loyal, returning year after year, meaning you'll have the opportunity to see real continuity of care too. Key Duties They are ideally looking to fill four or five days a week, including alternate Saturdays as a minimum, however if you are available to offer a part time position then they would be very keen to discuss your requirements. You'll be an integral part of the team and will help drive their service offering forward, always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate. Package and Benefits
