This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic professional with experience in Configuration Management to join a dynamic and highly respected engineering environment.
Working with SAP 500 to progress and agree modifications, you will interface with stakeholders across multiple business functions to discharge Configuration Management processes and activities. You will take ownership of achieving accurate configuration data from requirement identification, definition and design through to operational implementation, ensuring the integrity of product design.
Key Responsibilities
As a Configuration Management Engineer, you will:
* Drive the achievement of configuration deliverables (Configuration Management Plans and supporting documentation)
* Manage and monitor change requests and change collectors, ensuring timely progression from initiation through to operational implementation
* Deliver Configuration Management reports and management information, including status reports, KPIs and trackers in line with defined reporting cycles
* Act as the clients point of contact at internal and external customer meetings
* Provide configuration technical support to functional areas to control the modification state of the product and its support equipment
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Knowledge of, or experience xxuwjjq in, Configuration Management principles and processes
* The ability to prioritise and manage your own workload effectively
* Strong interpersonal, facilitation and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and electronic)
* High attention to detail and quality
* A high degree of IT literacy, including SAP, Excel and Power BI
