We are looking for an experienced Senior National Account Manager to join our rapidly growing FMCG business. Your role will focus on driving sales and growth across our portfolio of major restaurant brands in the UK and Ireland.
Base pay range
Location: Manchester (M1)

Primary Role
* Own and manage the customer relationship
* Ensure compliance with GSCOP, Competition Law and Brand Owner Contracts
Responsibilities
* Build and deliver a Joint Business Plan (JBP) and Trading Plan that delivers against the AAF P&L and customer objectives:
o JBP management
o Promotional planning in line with guidelines
o NPD listings and management
o Marketing plans
* Ensure all internal and external account admin is carried out accurately and on time, including:
o Templates and plans
o Financial analysis and reporting, including trade process
o NPD setup
o Performance analysis
o Promotional proposals, analysis and reporting
* Volume forecasting through the S&OP process, including:
o New Line Forms
o Manage and execute the annual budgeting and business planning process with Finance Business Partner
* Manage the strategic and operational relationship with key stakeholders:
o Retailer
o Brand Team
o Category Management
o Product Development
o Procurement
o Supply Chain
o Finance Business Partner
* Demonstrate a consultative selling approach:
o Range reviews
o Brand Days
* Ensure the business is professionally represented, both inside and outside the organization, and maintain legal compliance
* Continuously review processes and procedures within the role and recommend improvements
* Be an active and vocal member of the Sales team and encourage the same from your team
Requirements
* Experience in FMCG, retail and consumer sectors in a commercial function
* Excellent communication, influencing and strong leadership skills
* Strong team player who can also act as a lone voice when necessary
* Determined to achieve goals and willing to learn continuously
* Proven record of initiative and delivering results
