As a School Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the school’s data systems. You will ensure the accuracy and security of data, support staff in data-related tasks, and help to improve overall data management processes. This position starts in September, with training available throughout the summer holidays.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 * Manage the school’s Management Information System (MIS) and ensure data accuracy.
 * Maintain and update student and staff records.
 * Generate reports and analyse data to support school management and decision-making.
 * Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
 * Provide data-related support and training to school staff.
 * Develop and implement data management policies and procedures.
 * Coordinate with external agencies and stakeholders regarding data requirements.
 * Assist with the timetabling process and other administrative tasks as needed.
 * Monitor and improve data quality and integrity.
 * Support the Senior Leadership Team with data-driven insights and analysis.
 
The ideal candidate will have a degree in an IT-related field and a strong understanding of data management principles. You should be highly organised, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is advantageous but not essential.
