National Express are recruiting an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our team, based at our Head Office in Digbeth. The successful candidate will manage the configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of Salesforce, focusing on Sales Cloud and Service Cloud for our Coach, Transport Solutions, and Bus Divisions. Collaborating with Product Managers, Customer Care, and other teams, you'll develop and deploy new business processes to enhance efficiency and automation.
What you'll do:
* Manage user setup, security, and permissions, ensuring proper role hierarchies and access control
* Build and maintain Flows, validation rules, and process automation to streamline business operations
* Write and interpret SOQL queries to extract and analyse Salesforce data
* Maintain data quality through effective Excel-based data manipulation (XLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and conditional formatting)
* Implement and uphold Salesforce best practices, with a focus on reducing technical debt and ensuring scalable automation solutions
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce performance, integrations, and user experience
* Provide training and support to end-users, enhancing adoption and efficiency
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions
* Lead on BAU productivity, working through Service Cloud cases and supporting the Salesforce Product Platform Manager with change requests
* Produce documentation for any development work
What you'll need:
* Minimum of one year of experience as a certified Salesforce Administrator required
* Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADX201) required
* Prior experience as a front-end Salesforce user, giving insight into user experience and business needs.
* Robust understanding of Salesforce best practices, security, SSO and functionality required
* Strong Salesforce interest and ability to quickly master new technology
* A demonstrated ability to understand and translate complex processes into simple flow diagrams
* Proven experience in understanding user requirements and translating them into robust Salesforce technical solutions
* Understanding of SOQL and basic Apex triggers (not coding, but troubleshooting experience)
* Experience in creating and maintaining dynamic dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making and display user requirements for data.
* Familiarity with data import/export using Data Loader and Workbench, and ideally Salesforce Inspector
* Understanding of technology within the travel industry, particularly how CRM solutions support customer and business operations
