Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to contribute their expertise to our kitchen for 46 weeks per year.
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes within your speciality section
* Ensure all food is cooked to the required standard and presented in a timely manner
* Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
* Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes
* Supervise and train junior kitchen staff within your section
* Manage stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
* Collaborate with other chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the kitchen team
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
* Culinary degree or diploma from a recognised institution
* Current Food Safety Certification
* Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and tools
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and lead junior staff
* Creativity and passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences
* Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when required
* Specialisation in a particular area of cuisine (e.g., sauces, pastry, fish) is desirable
* Commitment to working 46 weeks per year in Lower Dicker, United Kingdom
