Overview
Ackerman Pierce is currently supporting a leading local authority within Windsor & Maidenhead to recruit for Social Worker in the Adults Mental Health Team. This will be on a permanent basis paying £38,192 - £42,012 P/Annum + £3,000 annual retention bonus.
Responsibilities
* Case Load Management
* Completing reviews and assessment
* Working alongside other agencies
* Working to ensure the protection of vulnerable adults
* Promoting service users choices, control and independence
* Supporting service users to live safely and independently in their own homes
* Assessing and reviewing existing service users placed in care homes
* Reviewing residential, nursing home or day centre placements
* Working effectively with other professionals
* Liaising with other professional bodies whilst working within the Mental Health Act
* Safeguarding Adults
* Self-directed support/personal budgets
Minimum Requirements
* SWE Registration
* 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
* Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
* Eligibility to work in the UK
* A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility requirements of the role through other means - is essential.
