CAN Engineering part of the RSK Group have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Equipment Specialist to their team in Chesterfield, UK.
Responsibilities:
* To work in the yard & Stores, carrying out activities on behalf of the company on a day to day basis, ensuring that works are undertaken in a safe and efficient manner.
* Assistance with goods in & out; checking certification of equipment; checking of returned equipment including maintenance; loading and unloading wagons/lorries; return equipment to racking and shelving; completing picking list generated by warehouse management system (outside stock), help out emptying any finished projects(Geo-containers).
* Cleaning out any plant & vehicles returned from site, including Welfare vehicles.
* Count any materials returned to the yard; this will be added into our stocktake system Via stores manager.
* Maintain high standards of discipline and general yard tidiness, including compliance with general and specific site rules.
* Maintain high standards of personal conduct in all work-related actions.
* Maintain a positive attitude and ability to be flexible in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Be comfortable bringing ideas, recommendations, and concerns to management. Always comply with the company’s health and safety procedures.
Person specification:
* No experience required as full training provided
* Previous yard and/or warehouse work advantageous
* Good luck around hand and power tools, rope access, PPE etc
