Job Title: Communications OfficerSalary: Commencing at £29,372 with progression to £31,138 per annum.Closing Date: 2026-01-04About the RoleWe are looking for a Communications Officer to join Luminate Education Group. You will be part of a dynamic communications team; you will be central to achieving our communication objectives. You will excel in a fast-paced environment, engaging in a wide variety of activities, including internal and external communications, media relations, public affairs, and social media.Interviews will be held in January 2026. What You Will DoSupporting with the delivery of our internal and external communications strategies across the FE and HE institutions and for Luminate Education Group.Planning, writing and disseminating a variety of communications for both internal and external audiences.Working closely with members of the Communications team to lead on media relations activities for the FE colleges, HE and Luminate, including writing press releases, opinion and thought pieces, statements, quotes and articles.Advising on communications and PR solutions, while taking a lead on proactive idea generation and implementation.Supporting with social media activities to ensure all communications are correctly shared and online engagement is optimised.Supporting with stakeholder engagement activities across Luminate Education Group, including public affairs and lobbying work.About YouHave outstanding verbal and written skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage and drive multiple projects while balancing expectations.Be able to manage expectations with both internal and external audiences.Be organised and able to work under pressure.Have excellent writing skills for communications and PR purposes.
