Job Title: Level 1 and 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Salford
Salary: £450 - £500 per week dependant on experience and qualifications.
The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in Salford is seeking a Level 1 or Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from April. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday) is ideal for someone with a warm, nurturing approach who is passionate about helping young children re-engage with learning.
You will work closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the classroom, helping children stay focused, rebuild confidence in their work and develop positive learning habits. The role also involves supporting behaviour expectations, encouraging respectful relationships between pupils, and assisting with basic assessment and feedback to support pupils’ progress.

Requirements
The requested skillset the desired Teaching Assistant you will require;
1. Level 1 and 2 TA Experience or confidence working with children.
2. A deep understanding of the National Curriculum framework or a willingness to learn this.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
4. A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
5. A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
