Hope House Children’s Hospices have an opportunity for a Communications Assistant to join our team based near Oswestry. You will join us on a full-time, temporary maternity cover basis. In return, our Communications Assistant will receive a competitive salary of £23,677 - £28,973 per annum. Hope House Children’s Hospices are passionate about providing vital care and support to local children living with life-threatening conditions, and their families. Our communications team plays a vital role by harnessing the power of stories to engage and inform people across the region about the importance of Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith, the services that are available to children and families, and our need to raise £7.5 million every year to fund our work. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual with some marketing experience who is passionate about wanting to use their skills to help local children and families. You will be organised, unflappable, excellent at prioritising and hitting deadlines, and be full of ideas but happy to take feedback onboard. A sense of humour and the ability to work under pressure are essential. You will also have an eye for good design and excellent copywriting and editing skills, enabling you to pass on briefs to our design team, give feedback on draft designs and place accurate and timely orders for printed collateral.
