£45,000 + company car, mobile phone and laptop
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for your next challenge?
We are looking for a Group Health & Safety Manager to cover several UK locations across the North of England/Midlands and take ownership of their health and safety function. This is a key role where you will be travelling across various sites, engaging with teams and embedding best practice throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Keeping training records current and ensuring all staff receive appropriate safety instruction.
* Leading risk assessments and safety audits across all operational sites.
* Supporting site managers and teams to improve safety performance and awareness.
* Taking full ownership of the H&S agenda while building strong relationships at all levels.
Along with the above you will be carrying out the usual audits, policy reviews, site visits etc.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a group-level Health and Safety Manager role, ideally covering multiple sites
* A recognised Health and Safety qualification - NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (someone who can engage, influence and lead but not bore)
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
