Overview
We are seeking a skilled Legal Secretary to join our team in our Acle Office, providing administrative support within our law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office administration and possess excellent organisational skills.
Duties
· General Audio-typing .
· Day to day administration, including administering our Case Management System, preparing standard letters, archiving.
· Telephone, and face-to-face contact and support with clients and assisting with general enquiries. Including but not limited to booking appointments, Will and Lasting Power of Attorney quotes and general message handling.
· Witnessing of legal documents including Wills.
· Scanning incoming correspondence to case management system and filing.
· Drafting of legal documents (Lasting Powers of Attorneys, letters of authorities, etc)
· General office duties including managing holiday calendar, maintaining stationary and booking of courses.
· Any other duties as from time to time may be agreed.
Experience
Experience of an office environment is essential.
Required Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
* Strong administrative skills with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
* Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
* Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients
* Experience of a Case Management system.
Nice-to-have Skills:
* Previous experience in a legal environment or similar role

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,500.00 per year
