Job Purpose
Responsible for maintaining and supervising the Club’s furniture and other facilities and carry out preventive maintenance, modification, rectification and upgrading works of all Clubhouse facilities. Perform maintenance activities and other maintenance projects.
Job Responsibilities
1. To carry out daily routine inspection on all facility equipment followed by schedules.
2. To carry out repairs on all damaged equipment e.g. doors, lockers, furniture and other furnishing.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of all workstations and tools, adhering to Club’s rules and regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
4. Assist in firefighting procedures and respond effectively during emergency situations to safeguard personnel and property.
5. Monitor and follow up on contractor work to ensure timely and quality completion of maintenance tasks.
6. To consult Head, Maintenance if any modification or additional work is required.
7. To follow up on complaints and additional works order requested by various Departments.
8. Perform monthly servicing of Club equipment such as air-cleaning filters and water features to sustain optimal performance.
9. To carry out modification and improvement method on all club facilities and equipment.
10. To assist in setting up, operate audio/video equipment for all events and functions.
11. To attend to any complaints pertaining to Club matters.
12. Roster department staff duty and assist in claim of overtime of staff.
13. To diligently attend course and training and to up-grade new skill when given the opportunity to do so by the club.
14. Ensure all maintenance services comply with safety, quality and budget requirements.
15. Perform any other duties/projects as assigned by Supervisor and/or Management.
16. Others:
* Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
* Not engage in any unsafe or negligent act that may endanger yourself or others working around you.
* Use personal protective equipment provided to you to ensure your safety while working. You must not tamper with or misuse the equipment.
Job Requirement
* Minimum 5 years of maintenance supervision experience (prefer facilities focus).
* Diploma/ Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services or related.
* Knowledge of local safety regulations and relevant maintenance standards.
* Strong organisational, effective communication and customer service skills.
