Potentia Search is partnered with an award-winning membrane technology company involved in water treatment, wastewater reuse, and potable water production. They are seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager to expand their presence in the UK & Ireland.
The Regional Sales Manager contributes to achieving sales targets set by the Sales Director. The role involves customer contact with new and existing clients in the Water Business, selling membrane modules to OEMs, municipal, and industrial customers. Generating new leads and maintaining a network with water industry stakeholders is also essential.
How can you contribute?
The role involves managing and expanding sales activities, finding new leads, and developing relationships with customers and stakeholders in the water segment. The Sales Manager reports to the Sales Director for Northern, Western, and Eastern Europe. Responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust and cooperation with clients in the region.
* Preparing and submitting proposals and quotations.
* Coordinating sales activities and communicating customer requirements with other departments.
* Attending trade fairs and preparing samples and promotional materials.
* Maximizing sales and gross margins of standard products.
* Negotiating and closing sales contracts.
* Generating sales opportunities and leads.
* Supporting engineers during project delivery and implementation.
* Providing market feedback on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
* Following up systematically on offers and recording them in the CRM system (Salesforce).
Who are you?
* BSc. or MSc. in a technical or technical/commercial field.
* Sales experience, preferably in water or membrane technology.
* Experience with CRM systems for managing sales and forecasting.
* Strong time management skills.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
* Willingness to travel for customer visits and site meetings.
