Job Opportunity: Operating Department Practitioner / Anaesthetic Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated Operating Department Practitioner / Anaesthetic Nurse to join the team at the National Treatment Centre Fife Orthopaedics, Victoria Hospital.
This purpose-built unit within Victoria Hospital comprises 3 theatres, a 7-bed recovery area, an orthopaedic ward, and outpatient services, offering excellent staff development opportunities.
The successful candidate may be required to work across Victoria and Queen Margaret Hospitals, including out-of-hours commitments as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Perform anaesthetic duties, with flexibility to work in Recovery or Scrub roles.
2. Work hours to meet service needs, including alternate Saturdays.
Qualifications and Registration
* Diploma in ODP NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 752, or a relevant first-level nursing qualification with a current anaesthetic certificate.
* Membership with the Health Professions Council or registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
