As Casual Visitor Experience Assistant (Casual Front of House), you’ll use your brilliant people skills to provide an excellent customer experience for our visitors at Rockbourne Roman Villa, in the beautiful village of Rockbourne near Fordingbridge.
You will work within a small, dedicated team to support the day-to-day operation of the venue. Your primary role is being the welcome face of the museum, greeting visitors and offering a high level of customer service. You will receive training on our systems, so you are confident handling admission ticket sales and retail transactions. You will also support with general housekeeping duties and ensuring the site remains well presented, accessible and pleasant for our visitors.
This is a casual role so offers great flexibility, with midweek and weekend shifts, and the possibility of some evening work supporting our exciting events programme. Rockbourne Roman Villa is open to the public Thursday to Sunday, and Bank Holiday Mondays, 11am – 4pm, with occasional events and group visits outside of these times. The site is open seasonally, between April to October. There are also opportunities to work casually at Red House Museum in Christchurch, Dorset, all year round.

You will have great people skills and demonstrable experience of working well within a team. You will also have experience striving for operational excellence in a public facing roll.
