We have a new opportunity for a site-based supervisor/lead chiller technician located in Capenhurst, Cheshire. In this role, you will lead a team of HVAC technicians to deliver service and maintenance to HVAC & Chiller equipment at a prestigious manufacturing facility.

What you will do
As a Lead Manager, you will oversee the service and maintenance of complex liquid chillers, including centrifugal, screw, and magnetic bearing compressors. Prior experience in this field is essential; training on York equipment will be provided.
You will lead a team to ensure high service standards, meeting client KPIs and timelines, and maintain communication with the client regarding breakdowns and repairs. You will also manage and report on plant maintenance and service activities.
You will resource additional technicians from the mobile team and manage the site team out of hours. Adherence to EHS protocols, including RAMS, COSHH, and regular meetings, is mandatory. Management of site tools and equipment, including PAT testing and calibration, is also required. SC clearance must be obtained before start.
What we look for:
* Technical Certifications: Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Level 3 or higher.
* Safety and Compliance: Knowledge of EHS, RAMS, and COSHH protocols; First Aid at Work certification.
* Other Requirements: Valid driving license.
* Technical Expertise: Experience with large tonnage chillers; proficiency with IT systems and digital platforms.
* Experience in Nuclear Manufacturing: Desirable due to safety-critical environment.
