Water Technician
Vacancy: Water Technician at MSS Water Ltd and RSK Group based in South Wales, UK. This is a full‑time, permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
* Sampling and testing of industrial water systems including cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loops.
* Writing reports with recommendations based on analysis reports.
* Meeting with clients to discuss findings and recommendations.
* Quoting for any additional services that would be beneficial to the client.
* Managing planned workload in the most efficient manner.
* Water Hygiene Tasks – previous experience of carrying out temperature monitoring, sampling, showerhead descaling/disinfection and tank cleans/disinfections.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous knowledge and experience in managing cooling towers, steam boilers and closed loops beneficial.
* Knowledge of Legionella guidelines including L8 and HSG274 also beneficial.
* At least two years of relevant experience in water treatment.
* Exceptional customer service and time‑management skills.
* Willingness to travel occasionally for short durations and additional overtime.
* Full clean driving licence.
