We are looking for a Home Delivery Driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Work Schedule: 5-day work week (Monday – Friday or Sunday night – Friday morning). Must be able to work either shift.
Hourly Rate: $23/hr
Responsibilities:
* Conduct pre/post inspections of delivery trucks (DOT requirement)
* Log hours of service such as driving, on, off, etc. (DOT requirement)
* Pick orders from warehouse and load product into truck
* Deliver dairy & grocery products to homeowners within assigned regions
* Navigate routes using a GPS unit
* Practice safe driving following DOT regulations and company standards
* Use handheld scanners to track inventory and deliveries
* Lift crates of milk weighing up to 50 lbs, including overhead
* Traverse various terrains and work in different weather conditions
* Provide exceptional customer service
Additional Responsibilities:
* Clean truck interior and exterior using power washer & shopvac
* Organize and clean truck barn areas
* Pick orders in the warehouse
* Crate and stack glass bottles
* Load glass bottles into washing machines
Qualifications:
* Valid driver’s license (Class C in IL)
* Experience as a Delivery Driver, able to lift 50 lbs, and work in refrigerated conditions (33-38°F)
* Safe driving in various weather and traffic conditions
* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
* High School Diploma or GED
* Clean driving record
