Based in Greenford, the business supplies both retail and direct-to-consumer channels and is experiencing continued growth, creating the need for an experienced Stock Manager to join the operations team.
Job Description
Reporting into the Operations leadership team, the Stock Manager will take full ownership of stock control across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods. This role is critical in ensuring stock accuracy, availability, and compliance within a fast-paced food production environment.Key responsibilities include:
3. Full accountability for stock accuracy across multiple storage locations
4. Managing stock movements, reconciliations, cycle counts, and periodic stock takes
5. Ensuring effective stock rotation, traceability, and batch control in line with food safety standards
6. Working closely with Production, Planning, and Procurement to align stock levels with demand
7. Investigating and resolving stock discrepancies, implementing corrective actions
8. Maintaining accurate records within the ERP/WMS system
9. Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with BRC, HACCP, and internal controls
10. Identifying opportunities to improve stock processes and reduce waste
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a hands-on Stock Manager with experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment.You will have:
11. Proven experience in stock or inventory management within food manufacturing or FMCG
12. Strong understanding of batch control, shelf life, and stock rotation
13. Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems
14. A detail-oriented and analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills
15. The ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively at all levels
16. A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus
