As we continue to scale our milk and premium ice‑cream operations, we are seeking a highly skilled Multi‑Skilled Engineer to play a pivotal role in maintaining plant reliability, supporting advanced processing technology, and driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, safety, and efficiency of dairy processing and packaging equipment while supporting engineering upgrades and automation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and optimise dairy processing and filling equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.
* Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system faults in live production environments.
* Carry out hygienic TIG welding and fabrication of stainless steel pipework to sanitary standards.
* Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, motors, drives, and control systems.
* Support plant upgrades, automation improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all engineering work complies with HACCP, GMP, and food safety standards.
About You
* Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification or recognised trade certification.
* Proven experience in sanitary stainless steel TIG welding.
* Strong industrial electrical fault‑finding and control systems experience.
* Background in dairy, food & beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.
* Deep understanding of hygienic design and CIP systems.
Desirable Experience
* PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi).
* Industrial refrigeration, pneumatics, and hydraulics systems.
* Experience supporting automation or process optimisation projects.
Working Environment
A dynamic production setting spanning high‑care processing areas, cold stores, and plant rooms. The role may require flexibility, including occasional on‑call or weekend support.
