Job Description
We are seeking a Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry) to install and configure monitoring equipment and repair and maintain valves on the clean water network in and around your region. This is a full-time, permanent position with an outstanding company that will provide full training, a vehicle, and the necessary equipment for the role.

* A starting salary of £28,600 per annum (including salary and area weighting)
* Salaries increase every 6 months during training, quickly rising to £33,000
* Salaries continue to increase based on progression and performance

Daily Activities
* Driving between sites and working outdoors in all weather conditions
* Lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and chamber covers
* Entering and working within confined spaces
* Installing and maintaining various mechanical and electrical instrumentation
The Candidate
* Full manual driving license is essential
* No prior sector experience necessary; full training will be provided
* Electrical or mechanical experience is an advantage
* Previous experience as a field engineer is useful
* Relevant academic qualifications such as BTEC Engineering or BTEC Electrical are advantageous
* Strong work ethic and a desire to learn quickly during training
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and clients
* Flexibility to accommodate business needs
