Job Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established events and creative communications agency seeking an experienced Account Executive to join its Midlands-based team.
This role offers the opportunity to work with a broad range of clients, including recognized brands, supporting the delivery of large-scale event and content projects while also managing smaller projects independently. It is ideally suited to someone with agency or event production experience who enjoys a varied, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Support – Large Projects
* Support the account team in delivering complex event and creative projects
* Take and interpret client briefs, translating requirements clearly for internal teams
* Assist with the delivery of content solutions including video, presentations and animation
* Complete project documentation in line with ISO9001 standards
* Provide on-site event support where required
Project Management – Smaller Projects
* Take full responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of smaller projects
* Manage client briefs, timelines and internal coordination
* Support budget control and financial reconciliation alongside the Account Director
* Liaise directly with clients, suppliers and internal departments
Creative & Content Development
* Participate in creative meetings led by senior team members
* Organize and facilitate project meetings for assigned accounts
* Source and brief external producers, freelancers and internal creative support
* Assist with creative development for event, video and content-led projects
Financial Management
* Support quote preparation, budget tracking and reconciliation
* Manage full financial delivery of smaller projects in line with agreed margin targets
* Maintain accurate project costings and financial records
Client Relationship Management
* Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients
* Communicate clearly and professionally throughout the project lifecycle
* Take ownership of day-to-day relationships with junior and mid-level client contacts
New Business & Business Development
* Prepare and present proposals and pitch documentation for smaller opportunities
* Support the wider account team on larger-scale pitches
* Participate in pitch teams where appropriate
Health, Safety & Compliance
* Complete event-specific Health & Safety documentation
* Liaise with external Health & Safety advisors as required
* Undertake relevant Health & Safety and First Aid training when necessary
CRM & Internal Systems
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for clients and suppliers
* Update contact details, notes and supplier rate information
Culture & Team Contribution

* Take part in team meetings, activities and wider business initiatives
Essential Skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills across varying levels of seniority
* Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage pressure and multiple priorities
* Proactive and autonomous approach with clear ownership of tasks
* Flexible and adaptable in a fast-moving environment
* Creative mindset with the confidence to challenge ideas
Experience & Requirements
* Previous experience in event production, agency or creative project delivery
* Client-facing experience and project coordination exposure
* Comfortable with regular UK travel and occasional international travel
* Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (essential due to office location and travel requirements)
* Confident working as part of a team and seeing projects through to completion
* Strong IT and systems literacy
