PCB Designer

Salary: Up to £40,000 plus company bonus
Location: Bolton
Working: Hybrid, 2–3 days on site
Clearance: BPSS required
What you will need
* British or Dual UK National, BPSS clearance required
* Understanding of PCB design, manufacture and assembly
* Strong communication skills for internal and external collaboration
* Self-motivated and methodical approach with a logical problem-solving mindset
* Flexible to travel, including occasional international visits
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and evaluate PCB and electronic manufacturing processes
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers, including international partners
* Assess PCB fabrication and assembly processes and support failure analysis
* Contribute to documented standards and best practices across national and international teams
* Provide technical support for UK and international programmes across all areas of PCB design, manufacture, and assembly
Your experience
* Knowledge of PCB design, manufacture, and assembly technologies
* Ability to take ownership of complex tasks and deliver to a high professional standard
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience collaborating with internal and external teams
