About the Role:
As a Review, Retention and Disposal Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing police information in accordance with the Management of Police Information (MoPI) guidelines. Your role will involve:
Interrogating the Centurion database and paper files to review all information.
Making informed decisions regarding the retention or disposal of data.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure accuracy and reliability of information.
Documenting decision-making processes in line with best practises.
Providing support to other areas of the department during peak times.Key Responsibilities:
analyse data to uphold compliance with PSD MoPI guidance.
Ensure the accuracy of information within Centurion and Crimson databases.
Identify and amend duplicate or inaccurate information to maintain integrity.
