Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various medical specialties and demonstrate proficiency in both clinical and administrative aspects of healthcare. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals across multiple disciplines.
Duties
* Provide expert consultation on a range of medical specialties including Psychiatry, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and more.
* Utilize EHR and EMR systems effectively for patient documentation and management.
* Conduct patient assessments, triage, and develop comprehensive care plans.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in areas such as Critical Care, Maternal-fetal Medicine, and Oncology.
* Engage in clinical research initiatives to improve healthcare practices and patient care methodologies.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
* Participate in health coaching and education for patients regarding their conditions and treatments.
* Oversee procedures related to various specialties such as Interventional Radiology, Surgery, and Dermatology.
* Provide guidance on acute pain management, wound care, and post-operative care protocols.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a clinical setting with expertise in areas such as Gastroenterology, Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding, and NCQA standards.
* Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques including CT, MRI, and diagnostic radiology.
* Experience with patient service roles that emphasize compassion and effective communication.
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred.
* Ability to manage complex cases involving conditions like PTSD, Dementia care, or Addiction medicine.
* Demonstrated skills in airway management, IV infusion techniques, suturing, or other procedural competencies relevant to the role.
* Strong analytical skills for conducting diagnostic evaluations and participating in clinical trials.
