Thorn Baker is collaborating with an established Facilities Management company based in North West Yorkshire. We are seeking a Cleaning Area Manager to oversee and monitor 16 retail sites across the region.
The ideal candidate is currently in a similar role or ready to advance from a cleaning supervisor position, with relevant experience in a similar environment.

The main responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring work complies with company policies, procedures, and legislation.
2. Maintaining contract retention targets.
3. Adhering to Health and Safety regulations, conducting quarterly audits, and monthly inspections.
4. Managing recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of employees.
5. Motivating and managing a competent workforce.
6. Controlling operational costs and overheads to ensure profitability.
7. Implementing cost-saving initiatives where applicable.
8. Planning and organizing operational activities and work schedules.
9. Ensuring adequate staffing and supervision at all sites.
10. Conducting performance reviews.
11. Ensuring availability of equipment and materials.
12. Conducting audits.
