To support the ongoing professional development of apprentices undertaking the Level 3 Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) programme, as well as other apprenticeship routes where appropriate. The role includes maintaining effective relationships with apprentices and their employers through regular tripartite progress reviews. A key responsibility is to provide coaching, monitoring, and guidance to ensure apprentices remain engaged, meet the requirements of the apprenticeship standard, and successfully progress to end point assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver and assess the Level 3 MOET curriculum, as well as other apprenticeship programmes, through a blended approach (one-to-one and group delivery, either face-to-face or online).
Provide support for learners working towards Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
Manage your schedule effectively to ensure assessments and progress reviews are completed on time.
Maintain accurate records of learner progress using an e-portfolio system.
Support, guide, and motivate apprentices to achieve their goals.
Identify and address barriers to learning, adapting delivery methods to suit individual learner needs.
Meet assessor KPIs, including timely assessments, quality assurance of paperwork, and effective administration.
Plan schemes of work that incorporate effective teaching strategies, resources, and assessments tailored to each apprentice's requirements.
Use creative methods to engage and inspire learners.
Build positive relationships with apprentices and provide advice and support to help them overcome challenges to learning.
Quality:
Maintain full knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Use the training provider's electronic platforms to record learner progression, track risks, and ensure compliance with evidencing requirements and GDPR.
Work with programme colleagues to develop, promote, and improve quality assurance processes and resources.
Complete all tasks within agreed timescales and to the training provider's quality standards.
Support and engage with quality assurance measures within the sector.
Undertake required training relevant to the role.
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines in the review and development of programmes.
Carry out academic administration tasks as required.
Stay up to date with changes to awarding organisation criteria and standards.
Share good practice with staff and teams to support continuous improvement.
