This role will be based at Woodlands Care Home in the Oadby area of Leicester. The home cares for 26 residents with various physical and mental health conditions. Candidates must be patient, understanding, and respectful of residents individual abilities.
Base Pay Range
The hourly rate is £12.45 to £12.80 per hour, dependent upon qualification level.

Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal hygiene and dressing, or help them retire to bed.
* Support residents to dine at mealtimes and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
* Encourage residents to mobilise safely around the home, with support of mobility aids and specialist equipment.
* Provide companionship, and accompany residents on social outings or appointments.
* Maintain accurate and timely written records and complete documentation.
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, engaging with other care professionals as required to promote residents health and well-being.
* Welcome family members to the home and assist with enquiries.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be successful, you must have a genuine caring nature and desire to make a real difference for residents. Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support worker is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided.
Key attributes include patience, understanding, respect for individual abilities, and basic understanding of dementia for many residents with dementia.
