Overview
Trainee Nursery Practitioner - Brighton x 2
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday). Salary: £8.00-£12.21 per hour. This is a full-time apprenticeship role with training provided.
Responsibilities
* Assist in delivering learning opportunities that meet children's individual needs in a safe and stimulating environment.
* Support the team to plan, prepare, and review activities.
* Work in partnership with parents and implement the nursery's policies and procedures.
* Support the Nursery Practitioners by creating a stimulating and exciting environment in the assigned room.
Qualifications and Training
* English GCSE at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent).
* Enrolment on a Level 3 Childcare training course, expected to be completed within 12 months.
* We provide high levels of support including mentoring and observation assessments with the training provider.
* Paediatric first aid and safeguarding training will be provided as part of the programme.
Requirements and Candidate Qualities
* The ability to work independently and in a team.
* Effective verbal and written communication, reliability, and organisational skills.
* Interest in supporting a stimulating learning environment for children.
