We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blood Transfusion/Haematology Biomedical Scientist to join our esteemed client in Portsmouth. This role involves performing Haematology and blood transfusion analyses, ensuring accurate and timely results to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high laboratory standards, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring compliance with NHS protocols and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct Haematology and blood transfusion tests, including full blood counts (FBC), coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including laboratory staff and healthcare professionals, to ensure efficient service delivery.
* Maintain strict adherence to health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
* HCPC registration (essential).
* IBMS Specialist Diploma in Haematology or Blood Transfusion (desirable).
* Relevant degree in Biomedical Science (BMS).
* Proven experience in Haematology and blood transfusion laboratory settings.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
