Role Title: Student Services Advisor 4
Location: Yale
Contract Type: Full-time - Fixed Term until 31 March 2026
Salary: £26,443 - £28,318; salary will be based on a salary assessment and experience.
Coleg Cambria is seeking a Student Services Advisor to handle all day-to-day learner enquiries and provide appropriate information via face-to-face, telephone, chat online, and email. Responsibilities include supporting learners on welfare issues and disseminating information regarding course advice, guidance, DBS checks, and transport passes.
Essential Requirements
* Good standard of education (GCSE Grade D and above in literacy and numeracy)
* NVQ Level 3 Advice and Guidance
* Experience in providing advice and guidance
* Experience dealing with young people's welfare issues
* Experience managing sensitive situations
* Knowledge of learner support issues
* Personal resilience to cope with various situations
* Good ICT skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to establish effective working relationships and work well in a team
* Self-confident with energy and enthusiasm for learning
* Creative, innovative, and imaginative
* Open and responsive to others' needs
