Assistant Site Manager – Social Housing External Works Refurbishment
Location: Hatfield
Salary/Day Rate: see adevrtisement - salary to be negotiated after 3 months of freelance. (Probation)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Site Manager to join our team on a large-scale social housing refurbishment project in Hatfield, focusing on external works to residential properties.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in site management. You will work closely alongside an experienced Site Manager and be supported by a knowledgeable and collaborative team, providing a fantastic environment to learn, grow, and gain valuable project experience.
The Role
* Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of a busy residential refurbishment project.
* Support the management of subcontractors and site activities.
* Help ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
* Monitor site progress and maintain excellent communication with the project team.
* Assist with health and safety compliance and site documentation.
* Contribute to maintaining positive relationships with residents and stakeholders.
Requirements
* SMSTS
* First Aid at Work
* CSCS Card
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable
* Experience working on social housing refurbishment projects.
* Knowledge or experience of external works, including roofing, façades, guttering, windows, cladding, or associated refurbishment works.
* Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager or supervisory role.
