As the Head of SYNLAB Transformation Systems, you will be pivotal in shaping and driving our continuous improvement (CI) capabilities. You will lead a team dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and quality across the organisation. This role requires a strategic leader with extensive experience in CI methodologies and a proven track record of delivering impactful results in a complex environment. You will collaborate with clinical and corporate teams, ensuring alignment and driving sustainable improvements. Your leadership will foster a culture of growth, development, and high performance.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the CI team, ensuring delivery and development.
* Develop and implement CI strategies and training programmes.
* Drive quality improvement through measurement and data analysis.
* Apply CI methodologies to transformation projects.
* Ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.
* Act as an ambassador for SYNLAB, promoting its values.
* Manage stakeholder relations and progress report.
* Lead on the development of Continuous Improvement capability plan and training targets.
Qualifications
Essential
* Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent CI training.
* Senior operational management experience.
* Demonstrable CI experience (value stream mapping, 5S, etc.).
* Experience in complex report writing and policy development.
* Proven ability to achieve delivery targets.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Experience in team leadership and development.
* Advanced data analysis skills.
* Knowledge of quality improvement methods.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Root cause analysis experience.
* Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.
