We are looking for a full-time, passionate Nursery Assistant to join our Bright Horizons St. Mary’s Day Nursery and Preschool, situated close to the centre of Abingdon, with great transport links.
The stunning 114-place setting features well-resourced rooms with free flow access to their amazing garden area, and also benefits from a forest school area, perfect for outdoor teaching and learning! The nursery is Ofsted rated 'Good'.

What you’ll be doing
* Working as part of a nursery team caring for babies and children up to age 5
* Engaging in daily activities, play, reading, and supporting children’s curiosity through the curriculum
* Communicating daily with parents about their child's activities
* Providing a caring, safe, and supportive environment
* Supporting colleagues in children’s developmental milestones
* Promoting child welfare, protection, health, safety, and safeguarding
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential—roles include Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder, or similar.
* Passion for making learning fun and engaging
* Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents
* Effective communication skills with children and adults
* Understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies
